1 . UNIT 1 .- Past Tense
- Simple past: we use it to express completed actions in the past at a specific time.
- Past Continuous: we use it to talk about actions that were in progress during a period of time in the past.
- Present Perfect: we use it for actions begun in the past and continuing up to now.
- Present Perfect Progressive: we use it to say how long things have been going in up to now.
2. UNIT 2 .- Infinitives and Gerunds
- Infinitive: certain words are followed by an infinitive verb with or without "to".
- gerund: certain words are follower by an ING-form
- it+be+adjetive+infinitive
- too+adjetives+infinitive
- adjetive+preposition+gerund
- verb+preposition+gerund
3. UNIT 3 .- Future Tenses
- Simple Future Tenses: we use it to express intentions and it can be used to express requests.
- Future Continuous Tense: refers to actions that will be in progress, often at a specified time in the future.
4. UNIT 4 .- Infinitive Complements
- 1-Persuasion Verbs: advise, cause,convince + object + infinitive
- 2-Want Verbs: expect/need + object + infinitive
- 3-Believe Verbs: consider/recognize + object + to BE
- 4-Plan Verbs: arrange + for + object + infinitive
- 5: have/let/make + object + base form
